Gernot wrote arrangements for the soundtrack album of the motion picture Rounders (score composed by Christopher Young) and has been working as an orchestrator for a variety of Hollywood composers, among them Christopher Lennertz, Henry Jackman, Natalie Holt, Ludwig Göransson, Joseph Shirley, Dara Taylor, Ramin Djawadi, Christopher Young, Aaron Zigman and Joe Harnell.
Orchestration credits include the motion pictures Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu and Sinners (Ludwig Göransson, composer), the Disney+ TV series Obi-Wan Kenobi (Natalie Holt, composer) and The Book of Boba Fett (Ludwig Göransson and Joseph Shirley, composers), the ABC TV series Agent Carter and Galavant (Christopher Lennertz, composer), as well as the motion pictures Ralph Breaks The Internet, Kong: Skull Island, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back and Big Hero 6 (Henry Jackman, composer); Shaft, Ride Along 2 and Identity Thief (Christopher Lennertz, composer); The Uninvited and Spiderman 3 (Christopher Young, composer) and Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium (Alexandre Desplat/Aaron Zigman, composers).
