Violinist Tereza Stanislav (assistant concertmaster of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra) and pianist Robert Edward Thies will perform the world premiere of “Rolling Hills & Jagged Ridges” on Saturday, June 20, 8 pm during the inaugural concert of the New Music series “In Frequency“. Also on the program will be works by Elliot Carter, Annie Gosfield, Jo Kondo and Iannis Xenakis. The concert will take place at the South Pasadena Library, 1100 Oxley Street in South Pasadena. “In Frequency” is curated by Tereza Stanislav and percussionist Andrea Moore.
