West Coast premiere of DANCE OF THE POLAR BEARS

USC Thornton faculty bassoonists Judith Farmer and Rose Corrigan will be joined by students Benjamin Yingst and Paul Curtis in performing the West Coast premiere of “Dance of the Polar Bears” on Monday, February 4, 7:30 p.m. The performance is part of the biannual Bassoon Bonanza, a fund raiser for the Stephen Maxym Scholarship Fund benefitting the bassoon studio at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The event will be held at Alfred Newman Recital Hall at the USC University Park Campus. Also on the program will be works by Bach, Mozart, Piazolla and Prokofiev.
